NI NO KUNI: Wrath of the White Witch
The demo for the long awaited Level 5/Studio Ghibli collaboration RPG was released for the PS3 earlier this week. It’s a hefty download (~2.5gigs) but comes with two different (timed) demos. One for a more open map with opprotunities for exploration and battles. The other more of the same but with a boss battle and additional story character who fights along with you in battle. Both showcase the games wonderful use of cel-shading and even have a choice of voice preference between English or Japanese voices. If you were a fan of the Dark Cloud series or the last few Dragon Quest games you kind of have a sense of how this plays. Almost a mixture of Dragon Quest meets real time action Pokemon. I highly recommend trying this demo out to just about any fan of RPG’S.
